Ladybower

Went to Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District today. Met this dude. Called Melvin. He was very nice and all, but i thought his attitude was a bit wooden (ho ho!)

Would have got some lovely picturesque shots of me with the sweeping landscape behind me, but the pigeon lady claims that the camera just 'wouldnt focus'. Yeah right, she's just a crap photographer.

Mel's got some serious wrinkle issues too. Beware of nonblinkers Trev!

Stinkypaw - Yes, i think hes an owl. he would be a very fat, flat faced pigeon, if he wasnt.

Wreckless - he sits out in the rain and sun a lot, it cant be good for the skin....

o wow we used to go there when i was about 5! in the 1976 drought (when I would have been 4 actually) isn't it true the old church bells of the submerged village started showing above the water ... or something..?

wow!

ps did I say this last time but you look like such a British pigeon..? I can't explain why ...

Glenwood - woo!!! a link! rock on!!!
I think you can see stuff when the water is low, yeah, but theres no chance of that with the current chucking it down that we have had!!
Hehehe thats cuz continental pigeons are a wussy pink colour! It takes a proper English Pigeon to be grey and stripy!

Philip - Im back baby! albeit a bit injured and laid up, but raring to go when im better!
